..Wait...WHAT?!

So, Canada's little election that happened less than 3 months ago, is about to be thrown out the window. And quite possibly, any glimpse of fixing the already duct-taped, flimsy piece of garbage it's been for longer than I've been able to breathe.

What we have right now is a minority government who is so right wing that none of the other parties will have anything to do with it. Which means that every decision that they put to vote gets stopped. That's the problem with being a minority government, they need to be able to please at least a few members of the other parties in order to get anything through.

Then we have the three other parties. The liberals, who were more than likely for everyone believing that every politician is a crook due to how they see the taxpayer's money as nothing more than a tip jar for themselves. The NDP's, who, although they may have votes for people who are only concerned about legalizing marijauna, have never been able to lead the country, save for a few small regions which were damaged more than when they went in.

And then, my personal favorite, the Bloc Quebecois. A political party formed solely for the purpose of gaining enough power to rip Quebec from the borders of Canada. The best part; they're a party that runs for Prime Minister each election; yet, only residents in Quebec can vote for them. I understand the loyalty and the dedication, but the only way they are possibly going to get enough power to do what they want, is by allowing people all over the country to vote for them. Because, face it, there are Canadians who believe Canada would be better off without having to make everything in two languages.

So what do the losers do? They say the Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who was elected for a second time now, that he is not doing anything about the current financial crisis. I have to ask...How much power does Stephen Harper have, that he must be able to fix the mistakes of international companies who have been forcing the market this way for decades? History repeats itself, and we were suppose to learn from our mistakes. But I suppose if you make learning about your forefathers mistakes into a boring subject, no one will care to listen, and thus, no one will learn from them. The greed of big CEO's and Ministers alike caused this. And not yesterday. This was a process that's taken over thirty years.

About five months ago, there was an article in the Edmonton Sun. It was about how a big car company (unnamed company) had paid a man to stop making vehichles. He was making eco-friendly vehichles himself, and they cost people $2000 to purchase. That's less than some crappy used vehichles.

If the Liberlas, NDP's and Bloc Quebecois think they can fix it all by stealing money, raising taxes, and making empty promises, I say we let them. But only allow them so that they may fall off of their high horse and flat on their face.

Hopefully, they'll fall behind my horse.
